Resendiz:  When I was in high school, I really liked to go and visit my counselor and so I thought after a while, I was like, "That would be a really fun job". That was my first inspiration, and then I got to work in a middle school and I absolutely fell in love. Interviewer:  What do you like best working at El Camino? Resendiz:  The students. They're gems. Interviewer:  What have you learned from your students? Resendiz:  I learned a lot about being patient, letting them make their choices, and being here to listen to them. Interviewer: Adam Chan Interviewee: Gian Montes Interviewer: How would you describe your freshman year in High School? Gian: I was in the transitioning from one group of friends to another. Lots of relationship transitions. Interviewer: Throughout the four years which would you have to say was the best year for you, and why? Gian: Senior year would have to be the best. I was in a musical, the mascot, did the morning announcements, was in leadership, designed all class apparel, homecoming king, and at this point I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Interviewer: What year did you find most stressful, and why? Gian:  Sophomore year, because I took English honors and AP World History when I wasn't really that smart. I failed English, and this was the first  time I joined leadership. Interviewer:  Who were the most influential teachers throughout high school? Interviewer: Heather Oakes Interviewee: Michael Wang-Belt Interviewer: Where did you grow up? Wang-Belt: I grew up in a little place called Prunedale, California. Went to school and never moved, so I'm a rarity. Most people usually moved during their childhood, but I never did. Interviewer: Why did you choose to work in the education field? Wang-Belt: I wanted to give back to the future. It was interesting going to college and seeing how little my high school prepared me, so I thought might as well gear them up with some knowledge that I had. Interviewer: What do you like to do outside of work? Any hobbies or interests? Wang-Belt: I haven't done it in a while, but I randomly try to build lamps. Interviewer: What is your favorite subject and why? John: Math because I like shapes...yeah shapes. Interviewer: Explain your most proudest accomplishment and it doesn't have to be school related. John: Being on the track team because I like running. Interviewer: What do you enjoy doing out of school? John: Hanging out with my friends. Interviewer: Describe your strengths and weaknesses. John: Well, one of my weaknesses is that I forget what I'm gonna say yeah like right now...and one of my strengths is running.

Interviewer: Sabrina Quach Interviewee: Kianna Quach Interviewer : ​Today I will be interviewing my sister Kianna Quach, who is an El Camino Alumni. Interviewer : ​What year did you graduate? Kianna :​ “I graduated in 2013” Interviewer : ​Did you enjoy your high school experience at El Camino High School? Kianna : ​“I really loved Elco, um, overall my experience at El Camino was pretty enlivening. I met a lot of people. I joined a lot of extracurricular activities while I was in high school. Um, at like the very first extracurricular activity I did in high school was yearbook and in yearbook I started off with photography because at the time I wanted to learn more about it. And then moved on... I continued to stay in yearbook for the next three years of my high school years and then I moved on to leadership along with yearbook and um that was that was very very that was a very interesting experience for me. I was able to find my passion through leadership but also find
