Interviewer: Hi what is your name?
Caelah: Hi I'm Caelah Calangi.

Interviewer: Out of your four years of high school, what do you expect to gain or learn?
Caelah: I want to learn how to do taxes, but I doubt that.

Interviewer: What has been your best experience so far?
Caelah: Um leadership. Joining leadership has been my best experience. I wish it wasn't just for one year.
Interviewer: What year did you join?
Caelah: Sophomore year
Interviewer: What did you do?
Caelah: CTS

Interviewer: Explain your proudest accomplishment and it does not have to be school related.
Caelah: Getting my license, I'm proud. I wouldn't think that me, Caelah, IF YOU KNEW ME, you wouldn't think I'd be driving.

Interviewer: Who do you look up to as a role model?
Caelah: I look up to my sister as a role model.
Interviewer: Older?
Caelah: Yeah my older sister. She's practically my mom because she takes care of me.

Interviewer: Do you have plans for your future after high school?
Caelah: I'm tryna be everything. I'm not trying to just stick with one career.

Interviewer: Kenneth Gelasio  Interviewee: Benny Choi Interviewer: How is your personal life affected/influenced by your work? Choi: Well... I think working as a substitute teacher has been..it's been great! And I really appreciate how, as a sub, it's flexible. I think it's cool that, when I'm not on a long term assignment, I can pick, "Ok I want the next couple of days off and go visit my friends in Santa Barbara" or I wanna go fish or do something. I have the freedom to be able to do that. Um, and to add on to that, I think it's pretty cool that there are opportunities as a sub to study, to do research on things that I like to do, even while I'm at school. Whether it's at lunch or during a free period. I think that's really nice and I think another part was... I guess being able to participate in some of the sports, uh I really appreciate running with cross country or playing badminton in the spring. I think that keeps me healthy

Interviewer:   John Michael Lee Interviewee: Anthony Tsujisaka JML: Hi, what is your name? AT:  Um, Mr. Tsujisaka. JML: Okay, how is your personal life affected or influenced by your work? AT:  Um, I definitely noticed that my personality changes outside of school, but I definitely still carry teacher characteristics outside of school. So I sometimes treat my friends like students every once in a while JML:  Why did you choose to work in the education field? AT:  Half my family's in the education field, so I had either a choice to be a lawyer or a teacher and I am not the lawyer type. But honestly I just love the interaction with adolescents.
