FE: Hi, I am Faris and I am going to be interviewing Mikaela Pelesauma, a junior from El Camino High School. Okay, Hi Mikaela.
MP: Hello.

FE: What has been your best experience so far?
MP: My best experience in high school would probably be the rallies because you get to experience lots of fun and see how everybody's happy and enjoyable.

FE: Good answer, good answer. What is your favorite subject and why?
MP: My favorite subject would probably have to be between avid and pe, but I love avid more because you get to go on cool field trips to colleges and stuff. And you get to have a lot of fun with your friends in that class. 
FE: What do you like about PE?
MP: If you have friends in that class, it's really fun and you get to do lots of fun activities.
FE: Are you athletic?
MP: I'm very athletic.

FE: Woo, go Mikaela! Do you have any plans for you future after high school?
MP: Um, after high school I plan to go to college and try to get a scholarship for softball, hopefully.
FE: Do you know what college you want to go to?
MP: Right now I'm looking into HPU— Hawaii Pacific University.

FE: Wow! Okay, can you explain your most proudest accomplishment?
MP: My proudest accomplishment would probably be just becoming a better person in life and yeah!
FE: If you could describe your high school experience in one word what would it be?
MP: Challenging, but fantastic at the same time. FANALLENGING.

Interviewer: Kenneth Gelasio  Interviewee: Benny Choi Interviewer: How is your personal life affected/influenced by your work? Choi: Well... I think working as a substitute teacher has been..it's been great! And I really appreciate how, as a sub, it's flexible. I think it's cool that, when I'm not on a long term assignment, I can pick, "Ok I want the next couple of days off and go visit my friends in Santa Barbara" or I wanna go fish or do something. I have the freedom to be able to do that. Um, and to add on to that, I think it's pretty cool that there are opportunities as a sub to study, to do research on things that I like to do, even while I'm at school. Whether it's at lunch or during a free period. I think that's really nice and I think another part was... I guess being able to participate in some of the sports, uh I really appreciate running with cross country or playing badminton in the spring. I think that keeps me healthy

Interviewer:   John Michael Lee Interviewee: Anthony Tsujisaka JML: Hi, what is your name? AT:  Um, Mr. Tsujisaka. JML: Okay, how is your personal life affected or influenced by your work? AT:  Um, I definitely noticed that my personality changes outside of school, but I definitely still carry teacher characteristics outside of school. So I sometimes treat my friends like students every once in a while JML:  Why did you choose to work in the education field? AT:  Half my family's in the education field, so I had either a choice to be a lawyer or a teacher and I am not the lawyer type. But honestly I just love the interaction with adolescents. That's my favorite part. JML:  Where did you grow up? AT:  Redwood City, CA. So, local. JML:  And where did you graduate from college? AT:  UC Santa Cruz JML : Okay, thank you!
