Interviewer:   John Michael Lee Interviewee: Anthony Tsujisaka JML: Hi, what is your name? AT:  Um, Mr. Tsujisaka. JML: Okay, how is your personal life affected or influenced by your work? AT:  Um, I definitely noticed that my personality changes outside of school, but I definitely still carry teacher characteristics outside of school. So I sometimes treat my friends like students every once in a while JML:  Why did you choose to work in the education field? AT:  Half my family's in the education field, so I had either a choice to be a lawyer or a teacher and I am not the lawyer type. But honestly I just love the interaction with adolescents. That's my favorite part. JML:  Where did you grow up? AT:  Redwood City, CA. So, local. JML:  And where did you graduate from college? AT:  UC Santa Cruz JML : Okay, thank you!

JML:  What has been your best experience so far? JH:  Um, the rallies and going out with my friends. JML:  Do you have any plans for your future after high school? JH: Yeah, just go to college. Haffner: As my workload increases, my personal life decreases, which is showing inverse relationship. Interviewer: Oh...alright then Interviewer:  Why did you choose to work in the education field? Haffner:  I like to work with people who consider themselves as children, especially as they're emerging into adolescence. FE:  What has been your best experience so far? MP:  My best experience in high school would probably be the rallies because you get to experience lots of fun and see how everybody's happy and enjoyable. FE:  Good answer, good answer. What is your favorite subject and why? MP:  My favorite subject would probably have to be between avid and pe, but I love avid more because you get to go on cool field trips to colleges and stuff. And you get to have a lot of fun with your friends in that class.  FE: What do you like about PE? MP:  If you have friends in that class, it's really fun and you get to do lots of fun activities. BDB: 1975 HO: And what were some of your best experiences in high school? BDB: Sports! I was most athletic. And probably the Cafeteria Lunch Time 'cause we used to have fun back there. I don't know, we used to have food fights. HO: Oh wow! BDB: Yea, we did! HO: That was allowed? BDB: Yea, I liked Spirit Week too, Spirit Week was always fun. HO: Oh, okay. How would you characterize the South City community growing up? BDB: The best. We didn't have to lock doors and when I grew up it seemed like every house had 5 or 6 kids in it, and so we had big giant neighborhoods and everybody was close.
